After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, many patients experienced Post-viral olfactory dysfunction (PVOD) - loss of smell (anosmia), reduced sense of smell (hyposmia), or distorted sense of smell (parosmia).

Apart from being unable to detect various odors, the loss of smell diminishes the patients' alertness to potential hazards in daily life, such as burning smells, chemical leaks, or spoiled food odors. It can also lead to loss of appetite, and even affect relationships and mental health.

Currently, the most common method to improve olfactory impairment symptoms is to stimulate the olfactory nerve with odorants to help recover olfactory memory. Essential oils containing various bioactive chemical components are used to suppress inflammation, eliminate residual viruses, repair cells, and promote olfactory recovery.

Our olfactory training kit has been carefully selected and validated, and includes Damask rose plus rose geranium for cell regeneration and balance, lemon for purifying fruity scent, lemongrass for its antibacterial and revitalizing properties, frankincense for cell repair and regeneration, peppermint for stimulating the olfactory system, and blue gum eucalyptus for its anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects.

We recommend using the olfactory training kit continuously for at least 30 days upon detecting olfactory problems. If used at a later stage, the improvement period may take longer.
